Chris Seitz

Chris Seitz, M. Ed., has been an educator in Hernando County for 8 years. He is a graduate of the University of South Florida for his BA and Saint Leo University for his Masters in Educational Leadership. Most of his career has been spent in the classroom teaching Middle School Social Studies, while growing in his passion for educational technology, professional development, and leadership in and out of the classroom. He was the department head over Social Studies at his first school for four years and has led several trainings on educational technology and classroom management throughout the district. He currently serves as a resource teacher and a member of the leadership team at a local middle school, mentoring new teachers and supporting discipline and curriculum initiatives from the administration. Chris is passionate about training and supporting new teachers, equipping them to be leaders in their own classroom, helping them take control of their own careers. He is also incredibly curious about the future of design and user experience, and how they can work together to impact K-12 education, students, and teachers most effectively.
