James Dean serves as the Florida Marketing Representative for Thinking Maps, Inc. A native of South Florida, James received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Palm Beach Atlantic College (now Palm Beach Atlantic University). James furthered his career credentials with an Educational Leadership Specialist’s Degree from Barry University. He served as an educator in Belle Glade, FL for 8 years and then 2 additional years as a Palm Beach County Public Schools Area 4 K-12 Mathematics Coordinator. As an award-winning educator including the National Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science, James now passionately serves students, educators, schools, and school districts throughout Florida teaching critical thinking and writing via Thinking Maps. He is a husband and father of 2 children. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, reading, tweeting and identifies himself as a “wannabe foodie.”
